About Jamila

For as long as I can remember I’ve had a paintbrush in my hand. Drawing anything and everything I came in contact with. But my main inspiration has always been from nature.
That inspiration took me to art school where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts. Since then I’ve worked full-time as an artist, most recently showcasing my solo exhibit at the Waller Studio. I now reside in Brooklyn where I make the daily walk to my studio.
